When I first started searching for a wedding planner, I actually worked backward. I chose the venue I wanted, looked at which planning companies had done the most beautiful weddings there, and Shine Events was at the top of the list. After seeing their work, I didn’t even bother interviewing anyone else—and that ended up being one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire wedding process.

Jessica, the lead planner, is one of the most down-to-earth, kind, creative, and talented people I’ve ever worked with. I showed her inspiration photos, explained my vision, and somehow she transformed those ideas into something even more beautiful than I had imagined. She has an incredible eye for design and knew exactly how to bring my dream wedding to life.

One of the things I appreciated most was how mindful she was of our budget. She never lost sight of the vision we were trying to create while also helping us make smart decisions along the way. What I wanted was not a simple wedding to execute, yet she knew exactly which vendors would be the right fit to make it happen. Her relationships throughout the Valley are unmatched, and she knows not only who is talented, but who will truly fit your style, priorities, and budget.

Jessica is exceptionally organized, and because of her, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. She and her entire team handled every detail seamlessly. We had multiple planning meetings leading up to the wedding, and every interaction left me feeling more confident and excited. She has impeccable taste and offered thoughtful guidance whenever I needed it, while still making me feel like my own creative voice was at the center of every decision. It was the perfect balance of professional expertise and personal collaboration.

Looking back, I genuinely cannot imagine planning a wedding without Jessica and Shine Events. She became so much more than a wedding planner—she was a calming presence, an advocate, a sounding board, and a source of support I didn’t even realize I would need. Because of her, I was actually able to enjoy the planning process instead of feeling overwhelmed.

My wedding was everything I had dreamed of and more. It truly could not have been more perfect, and I owe so much of that to Jessica and her incredible team. They are worth every single penny, and I would recommend Shine Events without hesitation to anyone looking for a wedding planner. Jess and her team were outstanding. We worked with her for about ~18 months during the wedding planning process and were in daily contact the weeks leading up to the wedding. On the day of, Jess was a behind the scenes queen making sure every single little detail was perfect and just the way we planned it. I had forgotten one of those details at home and was very sad as it was a sweet nod to both sets of parents. I let Jess know and she found a way to still make it happen day of. She was very patient with all of our questions and some changes we made closer to the wedding. She also was very thoughtful about which vendors to suggest based on style, personality and price point. I am so happy with each person she recommended and am truly sad I won’t get to see them now that the wedding is over. I would say having vetted vendors took A LOT of the stress out of having a wedding across the country while balancing a job and life. She and her team are very professional and everyone commented on how seamless the day was which was truly because of all the planning we did together and Jess executing our vision on wedding day. This allowed us to focus on each other and all our loved ones that day. Cannot recommend Jess enough!!
